Every year one in four people will experience a mental health problem; in the UK this equates to a staggering 16 million people, but still stigma and ignorance stand in the way of help. is a charity dedicated to ensuring that no-one facing a mental health struggle should have to do it alone, committed to giving those who need it, visibility, support, advice and resources.
In support of Mental Health Awareness Week (13 – 19 May) The Five Points Brewing Co are hosting their first ever charity comedy event, raising money for Mind to further facilitate their brilliant work. If your perfect idea of doing good is coupled with belly-laughs, this evening is one for you. The night will take place at The Pembury Tavern and will feature stand-up sets from four critically acclaimed (aka certifiably hilarious) comedians.
Multi-award nominated stand-up comedian beloved for his role as a correspondent on BBC 2’s The Mash Report, Pierre Novellie will take the stage, joined by Comedy Central co-stars Harriet Kemsley and Bobby Mair, and Vancouver comedian Kate Barron for a night of great laughs and an even greater cause.
