The Boundary Project

New Year’s Eve at The Boundary Project will allow guests to escape the typical NYE parties. Attendees will enjoy an evening of live music and a delicious five-course menu, before ringing in the New Year atop The Boundary Project’s impressive Rooftop Winter Terrace, with the party continuing late into the evening. Priced at £120 per person, guests will be treated to a glass fizz and a five-course menu at The Vault.


Leicester Square Rooftop Bar

Celebrate New Years on the panoramic Rooftop Bar and Restaurant with an evening full of glitz, glam and entertainment. On the 31st December, guests can choose to opt for the Rooftop Red Carpet Package (£395 per person), where they can indulge in a selection of delectable canapés and a decadent  even-course dinner followed by endless free-flowing champagne. Alternatively, guests can join the celebrations from 10.30pm with the Rooftop Canapés and Bottomless Champagne Package (£249 per person), which includes bottomless champagne and delicious canapés, served with a side of unrivalled city views and a spectacular firework display.


Offering sky-high drinking and dining with a view, the new B&H Garden Room in the heart of the West End boasts stunning interiors, seasonal food and panoramic views of London from the top floor. Vast floor to ceiling glass windows frame the room, providing every seat spectacular views across central London. Iconic landmarks, such as the London Eye, The Shard and Nelson’s Column are easily spotted and make an A+ backdrop for dinner and drinks. 

     

Worth a visit purely for the Instagram opportunities, this beautiful  is currently in its Autumnal iteration, but soon will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the festive period by Nikki Tibbles at . Orrey

Perched atop the roof of the converted stable block that houses the restaurant, this space at Orrery will be transformed into an alpine wonderland for the festive season, taking inspiration from the rustic chalets that dot France’s mountain slopes. Guests will greeted on the terrace with a hot Winter Spiced cocktail before moving inside to enjoy the new alpine menu from chef patron Igor Tymchyshyn with dishes including French charcuterie, Sirloin steak with Madeira jus and to finish, a hot baked apple flavoured with winter spices and raisins.

The Churchill Bar & Terrace

For a taste of the Scottish Highlands in the capital this festive season, head down to The Churchill Bar & Terrace’s Winter Terrace. Experience the Scottish themed winter wonderland, where you can cosy down by a roaring fire, wrap up in faux fur throws and take in the woodland features. The bar team have created a range of classic and creative Scottish cocktails to fight off the chill. 

Radio
Located on the 10thfloor, accessible via a dedicated express lift, Radio is the only rooftop bar, lounge & terrace in the Strand & Aldwych area to be open throughout the day until late. Sky Garden
Atop 20 Fenchurch Street, Sky Garden stands 155 metres high, yet is one of London’s best-kept secrets. It’s a naturally-ventilated space, so guests are encouraged to wear appropriately warm clothing when visiting the landscaped three levels. A little extra layering might be worth it for the view from one of London’s highest rooftop gardens. Replace your G&T in the hot sun with a hot G&T and enjoy warming pies from MYPIE, who have conjured up a range of festive pies for the occasion. London’s best winter pop-ups

Queen of Hoxton

Step back in time to 20th century surrealist Paris at Shoreditch hotspot Queen of Hoxton. Their cosy rooftop wigwam has been transformed into a decadent Lady Celeste themed bar, complete with velvet drapes, cabaret tables and a stage. Sip on Parisian spiked hot chocolate and toast marshmallows on open fire pits or head inside the Absinthe Bar for raclette-style dishes like the ‘Moulin Ooze’ (a posh croque monsieur). A series of immersive events will be taking place there too, including surrealist life drawing and cocktails with London’s real-life cabaret stars. 1 Curtain Rd, London EC2A 3JX

Madison

Perched on the penthouse spot of One New Change, rooftop bar and restaurant Madison takes inspiration from Manhattan’s glamorous social scene. This winter, guests are invited to soak up the views of St Paul’s Cathedral from a series of chalets decked out with timber-clad walls, twinkling lights and faux fur cushions. With a ski-inspired menu of boozy hot chocolate, baked camembert and Currywurst bacon frankfurters, festive feelings are guaranteed. 7 November – 28th February 2019. 1 New Change, St Paul’s, London EC4M 9AF

Pergola

Choose between Pergola’s two lively rooftop hangouts: Pergola Paddington, and the newly opened Pergola Olympia, both up and running for the winter season. Don’t worry about getting cold, both venues are prepared with heating and thick blankets. With big, bookable tables, Pergola is perfect for groups, and there are a number of street food stalls dotted around including burger spot Patty & Bun, Mexican specialists Yucatan and duck connisseurs Canard.

 Aviary

Swap the Northern Lights for the star-lit City skyline this winter and migrate east to Aviary’s Arctic Rooftop Escape for a high-altitude pop-up. Venture 10 storeys up, on the restaurant’s expansive terrace to find some of the most stylish, Nordic-inspired igloos in town. Accommodating up to 10, the igloos will provide a nod to traditional Icelandic-style, with rustic natural wood decor, hints of stone, hanging winter foliage and pine, alongside flashes of copper, h faux fur and warm lighting. Sustenance comes in the form of sharing, festive platters featuring the likes of rare roast beef and Yorkshire pudding canapés with creamy horseradish. Whether it be cocktail sipping at the opulent bar, dining from the restaurants expertly crafted Christmas menu or simply taking in the view from the warmth of an igloo, elevate your festive celebrations this winter at Aviary. Coq d'Argent

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city at Lodge d’Argent: Coq d’Argent’s winter rooftop wonderland. Taking inspiration from the Courchevel slopes, the terrace features vintage ski props, winter forest backdrops, furry blankets and snow scene jars submerged with warm fairy lights atop each table.
