Welcome in 2019 by celebrating National Bloody Mary Day, a single day devoted to the national celebration of the mighty Bloody Mary. Flavoursome and spicy, the ‘hair of the dog’ is a renowned concoction that’s been around since the 1920s. It’s typically made with vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire and hot sauces, and with the refreshing addition of celery or cucumber. If this is all very mouth-watering and you’ve been convinced, check out the below places in London where we know you’ll find the finest, most delicious bloody Mary’s around. Alternatively, if moving from your bed and stepping outside doesn’t seem likely, check out the recipe from the Blakes Hotel at the bottom which will teach you how to make a thirst quenching Bloody Mary without even leaving the house.
