Nothing, and we mean nothing, says summer like an orange, snake-effect mini bag. (In a sartorial sense, at least.) A snip at under £200, it’s sure to be a firm fixture in your new season wardrobe.

  • Astley Clarke Turquoise Sun Biography Bracelet, £125.

Whether or not you dig the ‘adult friendship bracelet’ trend that’s big news on the jewellery scene, this turquoise stackable bracelet from Astley Clarke’s biography range is undeniably pretty. Not guaranteed to bring the sun, but very likely to brighten your day.

  • Stella McCartney Star Motif Ankle Jeans, £360.

Don’t let summer spell the end of jeans season (one of the beauties of living in such a miserable climate is that denim season runs all year round). Instead, make a nod to the new season with Stella McCartney’s playful star-print ankle jeans, equally at home with a floaty boho blouse or cropped tee and trainers.

  • Ferm Living Fruiticana Tufted Pineapple Rug, £259.

For the true pineapple enthusiast; this tufted rug will add a totally tropical touch to your home. A great addition to your hall, playroom or summer house, this playful pure wool rug is sure to bring cheer to any room.

  • These stunning tanzanite earrings from Calleija feature white diamonds set in 18ct gold. Zara Phillips sported a pair from the collection in 18ct white gold set with pear shape green Tourmaline diamonds with detachable huggies at the Royal Wedding celebrations on the weekend. If it’s good enough for a royal, then it’s good enough for us.

  • Whether or not you’re going full Markle-mad for the royal nuptials tomorrow, there is something undeniably pleasing about a commemorative teacup, don’t you think? The best of the offerings for Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle comes in the form of this William Edwards Home Royal Wedding Teacup and saucer.

  • Sashay your way through the Royal Wedding celebrations this weekend wearing this wisteria print dress from Madderson London. The print reflects our absolute favourite thing about this time of year; but will stay in bloom through summer long after the wisteria fades.

The C&TH Guide to Celebrating the Royal Wedding 2018

  • Since the sun has been keeping up an appearance recently, grab yourself a new bag to bring to the beach and blend right in. This one has been hand woven from structured rattan and lightweight raffia. It’ll also make the perfect addition to your Instagram feed…

  • Celebrate the upcoming royal nuptials with a keepsake from Emma Bridgewater. This half-pint mug will be sure to help you remember the day in a joyful, elegant way. It also comes in handy for the copious amounts of tea you drink…

Update her summer wardrobe in the cutest way possible with these playful printed sandals. Our only complaint? They don’t come in adult sizes.

  • Harvey Nichols Royal Wedding Hamper, £95.

How better to celebrate the royal wedding than by treating yourself to some right royal snacks and drinks? All the thoroughly British fare you’d expect, from sparkling English wine to Earl Grey tea and strawberry and champagne preserve. Chin-chin.

  • Taylor Morris Zero, £210.

Inspired by 1950s vintage frames, these ‘Zero’ sunglasses have a timeless appeal that makes them worth the investment, while the matte black metal detailing is just the nod to modern styling they need.

  • Knomo Laptop Tote Backpack, £199.

Save your back when lugging your laptop from place to place with a carry-all backpack that looks, well, not like a backpack. This Knomo number can also be worn as a tote when it’s not filled with weighty electricals, and it’s smart enough to go with all your usual work wardrobe. Much more cost effective than the osteopath.

  • Serax Indoor Pot, £34.

Feeling green-fingered but no outdoor space to get creative in? Bring the outside in with some pretty planters and some greenery. Try trailing plants at different heights for a ‘junglaow’ vibe.

The beautiful Burleigh Calico print, which is instantly recognisable, is 50 this year. To celebrate, the brand is releasing a special edition range of mugs in a host of colourways. We love the burnt orange and teal. The new Calico mugs will be available at  from June 2018.

  • Carrying around an old (or, heaven forbid, new) plastic bottle of water simply isn’t the done thing anymore. Up your game with this Liberty X S’well collaboration of beautifully printed BPA-free, triple-walled, non-toxic stainless steel bottles. (Just skip your next 42 bottles of Evian to pay for it; the planet will thank you later).

  • Just in case you needed an excuse to stock up on attractive new notebooks, this week is actually national stationery week. What a happy coincidence, because this jazzy tiger-print notebook seems to have caught our eye…

This year’s project is again in collaboration with communities in Columbia, and each experimental piece is handmade with care by a community of women from Villanueva. As with previous years, Marni’s Salone del Mobile project supports a children’s charity. We’ll take this bold and bright chair for our patio, please.

  • Struggling to find a simple three-step skincare solution for combination skin? Problem solved. Aesop’s In Two Minds range really delivers. The Cleanser, Toner, Hydrator trio addresses the complex needs of combination skin, that can be in parts blemished, oily, sensitive and dry. As usual from the hero beauty brand, it’s packed with natural ingredients and essential oils, (and we predict the lightweight hydrator will be an instant favourite).

RIXO is one of the labels of the moment, and this high neck backless silk dress is our pick of their new season collection. In black floral print lightweight silk, it will take you through summer party season in style.

  • As spring creeps ever closer, get back on that bike and get outdoors. But if you’re still feeling a little winter sluggishness, try an ebike, for a little battery boost. The three-power motor takes the edge off those hills and gives beginners a helping hand on the roads. Victoria Pendleton gave us a little demo and made it look oh-so-easy, but then, she would…

  • Miu Miu continues its exploration of the woman’s point of view with its series of short films directed by prominent female figures. With this spring fresh perfume, you’ll fit right in to the season and everyone from your mum to your best friend or even the woman at your local supermarket will be asking what you’ve got on. If you can’t wait until the  exhibition in June for a slice of the Mexican artist, check out Cassandra Goad’s new Ola Mexicana collection. Inspired by the basket that a love struck Frida Kahlo would carry lunch to her husband in every day, the Frida pendant is made up of folds of gold wrapped around the jewelled contents; we love this ruby version.

  • We absolutely love these boxy little camera bags; bang on trend for the new season, and given a modern twist with the wide strap. If you really want to get playful, you can add an oversized brass initial letter, for £50 (should stop friends and sisters from ‘borrowing’).

  • .

This new version of Leica’s high-performance compact camera features the full-frame sensor and fast prime lens, and thanks to its snow-white design it’s been named the Leica Q ‘Snow’ by Iouri Podladtchikov. This limited edition has been created in collaboration with the Swiss Olympic gold medallist and World Champion snowboarder (halfpipe), whose own ideas inspired the design of the camera. Probably wouldn’t risk taking it on the slopes unless you have Iouri’s skills, though.

  • Black Silk Blend Butterfly-Print Shirt by Paul Smith, £415.00

For his SS18 collection, Paul Smith found inspiration in fine antique jewellery brand Bentley & Skinner’s new season catalogue. The designer created a small collection of designs featuring a photographic print from the brand, inspired by the historic delicacies of Bentley & Skinner’s cabinets – and the results are beautiful.

“I have been receiving a very beautiful catalogue from Bentley & Skinner for quite some time and every-time it drops through the letterbox I always think that it’s so perfectly created and laid-out. I just kept thinking, “wow, these photos would make the perfect dress” – Paul Smith

  • Chances are, this is already a staple in your beauty regime; so what better excuse to top up that the double opportunity to get a great discount on this super-sized pot, and to support Women for Women International.
