The Langley, Buckinghamshire

Set in The Duke of Marlborough’s former country estate, The Langley has been undergoing a complete multi-million-pound renovation over the last five years. The result? An exquisite 41-room boutique hotel and spa, set within 500 acres of idyllic Buckinghamshire countryside and one of the most exciting UK hotel launches of 2019. Grantley Hall, Yorkshire Dales

Opening: May 2019

One of the most talked-about country openings of 2019, Grantley Hall is a 17th century Palladian-designed property in the heart of the idyllic Yorkshire countryside, complete with a lake and English Heritage-listed Japanese Garden. Check into one of 47 rooms and suites, seven diverse drinking and dining venues, a state-of-the-art wedding and banqueting suite, a tranquil spa and fitness and wellness offering.



J.K. Place Paris

Opening: Spring 2019

J.K. Place Paris is being converted from the former European Consulate at 82 Rue de Lille. On the back of the Seine opposite Boulevard Saint Germain, the location and building took the J.K. team over 5 years to find. The group’s first venture outside of Italy, expect a French twist on their signature Italian style, with a design by Michele Bonan. Check in for one of 30 keys, an indoor pool, Sisley Spa and a J.K. f&b experience in partnership with Casa Tua. Some of the furniture was found in flea markets across Paris and carefully restored to form talking points in the guest rooms and public spaces. Villa Passalacqua, Moltrasio

Opening: March 2019

An addition to Grand Hotel Tremezzo, elegant 17th century property is a national Italian monument, standing atop the village of Moltrasio, which will be launching when the hotel opens for the 2019 season. Complete with nine suites, secret underground passageways, frescoes by Napoleon’s chief artist Andrea Appiani, a 200-year-old glass greenhouse hidden among the olive and lemon trees, waterfront swimming pool and ornate furnishings and artworks, this is the ultimate way to experience the region. Nobu Hotel Barcelona

Opening: Summer 2019

The fourth European hotel and third Spanish property in the Nobu Hotels portfolio, Nobu Hotel Barcelona will offer panoramic views of the city when it opens this summer. The Japanese art form of Kintsugi was the main inspiration behind the design of the hotel, which will house 244 rooms, including 43 suites, meeting rooms, event spaces and a Nobu restaurant on the 23rd floor. Reminiscent of Gaudi’s work throughout Barcelona, the interiors will see traditional Japanese broken pottery applied to the walls and ceilings.


Amàre Beach Hotel, Ibiza

Opening: July 2019

In time for the summer season, Amàre Beach Hotel is opening its doors in Bou Cove in San Antonio Bay. The adults-only seafront hotel aims to bring both sides of the white isle to life, with sunset DJs, stunning views of the Mediterranean, a rooftop infinity pool and beach club. Guests can recover from hedonistic pursuits at the hotel’s Wellness by Germaine de Capuccini, with a range of wellness programmes, therapies and treatments.

T-Nest, Croatia

Opening: October 2019

The brain child of Goran Strok, T-Nest is set to be a luxury eco resort set in the relatively undiscovered region of Lika. Showcasing local craftsmanship and Croatian art, the resort will put eco-travel at the forefront of its plans from sustainable dining initiatives to the natural pool with a ‘biotape’ self-cleaning system, while opening up a new part of Croatia to the luxury tourism market. The resort will be comprised of 70 low density villas, treehouses and lake houses, all set around a natural lake and amongst the forest.

Katikies Garden, Santorini

Opening: June 2019

The seventh hotel in the Katikies Resorts & Club group, Katikies Garden will open in Santorini this summer, set to be the first five-star property situated in the centre of Fira town. Housed in a former Monastery, guests will enjoy the hotels’s unique charm and interesting history, with blossom-filled alleyways, fountains and blooming gardens throughout. With 40 suites spanning seven categories, from Junior Suites with private verandas or gardens and open-air heated jet pools, to the two-floor Katikies Garden Pool Suite which has its own swimming pool, spacious open-plan living and dressing area a stunning 120 square metre private garden. The large, main swimming pool will offer panoramic views of Santorini’s famed caldera.

Think 40 square-metre private pools, complimentary kids clubs, à la carte menus curated by Michelin starred chefs complimentary use of a mini-cooper to explore the island for one day of your stay. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts marks its first hotel in Greece with the opening of Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens this spring. Housed at the end of Astir peninsula on the Athens Riviera, this luxurious seaside escape is just a short drive from the historical centre of Athens. In addition to the hotel, the peninsula, stretched across 30 hectares (75 acres) of pine-dotted and scenic landscaped gardens, also comprises retail and dining options, including Matsuhisa Athens by Nobu; Astir Beach, a unique seaside concept; Astir Marina; and high-end seafront residences.



Hotel Samzeo in Omalo, Georgia

Opening: May 2019

A hiker’s paradise, Omalo is a remote village located between two mountain ranges in Georgia’s historical Tusheti region. Hotel Samzeo will be the first hotel to launch in the region, featuring breath-taking views and plenty of eco-tourism twists. Choose from 43 rooms, including 10 luxury suites and two apartments and enjoy the onsite restaurant serving traditional cuisine and local wine, a lounge area with cosy wood burning stoves, and a spa. Radisson Collection Hotel, Tsinandali Estate Georgia

Opening: January 2019

Located in the heart of the Kakheti wine region in Georgia, overlooking the Caucuses mountains, the Tsinandali Estate was once the home of Alexander Chavchavadze (named the father of Georgian Romanticism). The property will shine a light on Tsinandali’s rich history, with Georgian architectural style by world-renowned industrial designer Ingo Maurer in collaboration with celebrated Georgian artist and sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze. And of course, the on-site vinotheque is a must-visit.

Rosewood Hong Kong

Launching in its home city of Hong Kong, the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will make a splash with its arrival in spring. Situated within the Victoria Dockside arts, design and conceptual retail district, the 413-room Rosewood Hong Kong will be located at the former New World Centre on Salisbury Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.  The ultra-luxury hotel will occupy 27 floors of a multi-use tower, which is set to become a landmark on the world-famous skyline. There will be eight restaurants and lounges, recreational facilities including Asaya, Rosewood’s holistic wellness concept, as well as a fitness centre and swimming pool.


The PuXuan, Beijing

Opening: January 2019

Minutes away from the Forbidden City and Beijing’s main commercial and shopping district, The PuXuan Hotel and Spa has been designed by internationally renowned German architect, Ole Scheeren. Choose from 116 luxury rooms (including 24 suites) all featuring an understated, contemporary and soothing aesthetic. Rooms are furnished with handcrafted and artisanal furniture by Hermes-backed Chinese lifestyle brand SHANG XIA, many rooms feature uninterrupted views across the Forbidden City of one of Beijing’s oldest neighbourhoods.

The St Regis Hong Kong

A name with a stellar reputation, St Regis have finally opened the doors to their long-anticipated Hong Kong debut. Described as a curated mansion, the 27-storey property pays homage to the city beyond its walls; combining timeless elegance with cultural innovation and of course, a warm touch courtesy of the hotel’s world-class hospitality.
